Blue Shield announced that this offer allows clients to enroll in any available Blue Shield of California Medicare Supplement Plan without answering any health questions or obtaining underwriting approval.

Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage Plan members from Blue Shield or other carriers switching to a Blue Shield Medicare Supplement plan are eligible to apply.

1. Per law, Plan F Extra is only available to applicants who attained age 65 before January 1, 2020, or who first became eligible for Medicare benefits due to disability before January 1, 2020.

2. Medicare Advantage plan members may enroll into a Blue Shield of California Medicare Supplement plan without underwriting review during the Annual Election Period (AEP) through December 7, 2020. Additionally, due to the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (OEP), Medicare Advantage plan members may switch to a Blue Shield of California Medicare Supplement Plan from January 1, 2021 through February 28, 2021 without underwriting review.
